Christmas for Janette

And here is the Christmas gift I drew for Janette.  This is of a couple out of a book that she and I have been working on as well, though not as often as we used to. We are both trying to finish book series at this time and so there hasn't been as much time available for us to play in this world, but one day we do plan to come back to it, pick it up off the ground, brush it off and make it sparkle and shine. :)

Christmas Gift for Rose

This picture went along with a short story I wrote for my friend Rose. It involves characters from a book series we have been working on.  I am happy with how it turned out and the effortlessness of the picture as i drew it. I think there is nothing quite as wonderful as being in that creative zone where you are somehow taken out of the equation and some higher power or self steps in to make an amazing bit of art.  There is no other high in the world to compare with this kind of creative moment.

I'll admit. . . .

I have not been good About posting on this Blog.  But I am trying to be better about it.  My new goal is to post to it at least once a week.  I need to be doing more drawings anyhow, so I will be more faithful in my endevors.

I am also posting the new projects I have been working on. The most recent one was done with clay.  I made little angels and had many orders. I'm a bit worn out from it, but they were so darn cute and fun to make. So here are a few expamples of them.

Mallow man

Here, Star presents Fisher with a Christmas gift of a Marshmellow snowman. Since her life revolves around the sugar sweet stuff, a gift of it is a sure sign you are in her most tender graces and have officailly been adopted by her.
